Demar Derozan

Demar Derozan is a 6'7" small forward that plays for the Toronto Raptors. He grew up in Compton, California, and went to Compton High School. In high school he was ranked, 3rd in California, and played varsity all 4 years of his high school career. In 2007 he had three decisions to which College he will attend, North Carolina, Arizona, and USC. He chose USC, because it's near his hometown. He averaged 13.9 points in College, and 5.7 rebounds.
Then came his NBA career. He was told that he declared the 2009, NBA Draft, that will take place at the Madison Square Garden, in New York City. He was the ninth pick, while Blake Griffin was the first. He was drafted by the Toronto Raptors. In 2014 he averaged 16.9 points per game, and made the All-Star game. He is a 2x NBA all star, and is currently 26 years old.

Paul George

Paul George is a NBA player, that is 6'7'' and currently plays for the Inidana Pacers. He was born on May 2nd, 1990. He went to Knight High School, for high school, and has a lot of scouts. A few years later he had different options, to go to a College, and eventually picked Fresno. He played for the Fresno Bulldogs, for two seasons then got the option for the 2010 NBA draft.
 In 2010, the NBA draft was held at The Madison Square Garden, in New York City. He was waiting to see who was going to draft him and eventually David said, "The Indiana Pacers select Paul George." He was the 10th pick, before him came John Wall, Evan Turner, Derrick Favors, Wesley Johnson, DeMarcus Cousins, Ekpe Udoh, Greg Monroe, Al Aminu, and Gordon Hayward. In his first  season he was invited to the Dunk Contest and made it. He averages 26,8 points per game, and currently still plays for Indiana Pacers.

Carmelo Anthony

 Carmelo Anthony is a small forward, who was born on May 29, 1984 and is currently 31 years old He was born in, Brooklyn, New York, and currently plays for the, New York Knicks.  He went to high school at, Oak Hill Academy which is in, Virginia. He went to college at, Syracuse In 2002, and after one year in college, he was told that he declared the 2003, NBA draft. People were really excited for the 2003 NBA draft, because the top three players from high school and college are entering the NBA. He was the third pic, before Carmelo came LeBron James, Dewayne Wade, then came Carmelo, and Carmelo was drafted by the Denver Nuggets.
 Then came his NBA career, his rookie season. he averaged about 21 points a game his rookie season, that's incredible. Then that year he made the, NBA-All-Rookie team, which some rookies can make. His second season he averaged 19 points, per game. He was doing great with Denver, then in 2013 there was an announcement that, The New York Knicks, got Carmelo, in a trade. Carmelo has been the leader of his Knicks and currently still is, lots of players love playing with him.

Demarcus Cousins

 Demarcus cousins is a center, he's 7'2" and currently plays for the Sacramento Kings. Demarcus was born in 1990, he is number 15. He was born in Mobile, Alabama, and grew up there. He went to LeFlore Magnet High School, which was in Mobile, Alabama. In high school he had, a bunch of scouts watching him, he was wanted by a lot of people. After his final game in Hugh School, he declared the 2010 NBA draft.
Demarcus Cousins was the fifth pick, in the first round. Before him came John Wall, Evan Turner, Derrick Favors, the came Demarcus. He was drafted by Sacramento, and is currently still playing there. That year he won the Rookie Of Year, award. Demarcus is a 2 times NBA all star, and made the all NBA second team. Hes still a little bit young, and has a lot of potential.

Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook is a point guard, who has been playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was born on November 12, 1988 and is currently 27. Russell is a very quick, and explosive player, he loves to attack the rim. He's also a great shooter, he leads the NBA with tripe doubles. A triple double, is when you get 3 double digit stats. Russell gets assists, rebounds, and points. He's a 5 time NBA all star, 2 time NBA all star MVP , NBA scoring champion and he made the NBA All-Rookie team. In 2012 he made the NBA championship game, and played against the Miami Heat. They lost and Lebron James won MVP.
Russell grew up in Long Beach, California, and went to UCLA, University of  California Los Angeles. He played there for 2 years 2006-2008. After 2008 he made the NBA draft, he was the 4th pick in the first round, before Russell came Derrick Rose, Michael Beasly, O.J Mayo, the came Russell. He was drafted by Seattle Supersonics, then in 2009 the Seattle Supersonics moved to Oklahoma City, then changed the name of the team to Thunder.

3 Shooting Guards

      In the NBA there are plenty of great shooting guards. One is Klay Thompson, which  is the son of Michael Thompson. Klay is in outstanding three point shooter, he recently won the Foot Locker 3 Point Shootout.  he also attended the 2015–16 All-Star game and play for the West team.  another great shooting guard is  Dwyane Wade. He currently is on the Miami Heat, and has always played on the Heat. He  had played with many legends, like Shaquille O Neil, LeBron James, And Chris Bosh. Dwayne Wade has won three championship rings, two were with LeBron, one was with Shaq.
    Gordon Hayward is another outstanding player, he currently plays with the Utah Jazz. He is leading their team and is the captain, and leader. In my opinion Gordon is in very underrated player,  he passes very well he makes a lot of 3 pointers he's a great scorer.  The reason why I really like him is because he's different from most small players, he can do more than just scoring, and not many players can do that.  these are three great shooting guards, out of these three shooting guards I think that Dwyane Wade is the best because, he's had the most experience and has been in the league the longest.

James Harden

      James Harden  is a shooting guard that currently plays for the Houston Rockets. James Harden was drafted to the Oklahoma City thunder, and got traded to Houston in 2012. When he got traded, is when he started to become a star because, on his old team they had Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook.  James Harden was coached by Scott Brooks, and Kevin McHale. he was born in Los Angeles California and went to Artesia high school. He went to Arizona for college. James Harden won sixth man of the year award, in Oklahoma.
He was in the all star game twice, in 2014, and this years 2015. He was also selected in the Foot Locker, three point contest both these years. James greatest move in basketball, is drawing fouls. He goes to the free throw line and that's where most of his points come from. He is currently the captain and the leader of his team. He currently gets paid 15 million dollars a year, which is his salary. He has also been selected to be in the National Olympocs, in 2014. He was playing with some of the best players in the NBA when he was selected.

Larry Bird

      Larry Bird is one of the greatest players in the history of professional basketball. He was born on December 7, 1956.  before the NBA draft the team that had the strongest interest in bird, was the Boston Celtics. The reason for this is because, he was an outstanding three point shooter for his height at 6'9. Larry Bird signed with the Celtics on June 8, 1979 with a contract of $3,250,000. In  his rookie year, he was considered the most determined, tough-minded and competitive player in the entire NBA.
  His rookie season took place in 1979,  in that yours was named rookie of the year and was named to the all NBA team.  One of the most exciting things of birds true you're happy in that season in 1980 which was winning his first NBA championship title. after the season he went on and started moving on and one another two more championships with the Celtics, he's gotten many most valuable player o after that season he went on and started moving on and one another two more championships with the Celtics, he's gotten many most valuable player awatds.  he finally retired on August 18, 1992 before he retired he played in the olympics.

Magic Johnson

Magic Johnson was counted as the best Point Guard of all time. He played for the Los Angeles Lakers in 1979. Magic Johnson was 6'7'' and was a point guard, when usually Point guards are around 6 feet. Magic's legal name is "Earvin" and is called Earvin Magic Johnson. He won the Most Valuable Player award 3 times, in 1987, 1989, 1990. Magic Johnson left the NBA, and retired in 1996, and currently owns the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Magic Johnson won NBA Finals MVP in 1980, 1982, and 1987. This award means that, during the whole Championship series, the most valuable player is that series gets this award. Magic Johnson has one five NBA championships, and has never wore his rings. Magic Johnson is now compared, to LeBron James, I wrote about Lebron in my blog before check it out.

rules of basketball

       Basketball has many different rules. One is called a travel, a travel violation is when you take more than two steps when the ball is in your possession. Another rule is called a double dribble. A double dribble is just like it sounds, when you continue dribbling the ball after you previously stopped. These two rules are the most common rules followed by an NBA player to ensure they're playing properly.
        A third rule is called a carrying violation. This is when your hand is under the ball and it goes over your shoulder. Additionally, you cannot be in the key of the court for more than three seconds, if a player is in the key for longer than that amount of time then they turnover the ball. This rule is meant for centers because they are always in the key looking to score. Next time you're watching basketball, try to catch the referee making these calls!

3 good Point Guards

 There are many  good different point guard in the NBA right now. But  i'm going to say the top five point guards in my opinion.  The fifth best point guard in the NBA right now in my opinion is John Wall. The reason I think this is because he's an outstanding player to his teammates he creates many good passes and can score a lot whenever he wants.  He's a very good score and a very good driver,  when he goes to the basket it's hard to blocking he's very athletic and a hard players to guard.
 For the fourth  Point guard I would see is Kyle Lowry.  Right now Kyle  is a leading his team he's averaging about 23.6 points per game with 7.2 assists and he gets a bunch of steals.  People might say right now that he is the third best but in my opinion I think he's the fourth because the three that I think are better than him do more quality stuff.
For the third I would say is Chris Paul. Chris Paul is probably the best leader in the whole league. He's a great leader because he sees his team won everything you did and if one of his teammates are below average she makes them above average. He could lead a team which is very powerful about him and is rare from other players.

David Blatt

 The Cleveland Cavaliers recently fired their head coach David Blatt .  Dave is Blatt was their coach for almost 2 seasons.  David Blatt is a professional Israeli coach that has much of experience with other teams such as Maccabi Tel Aviv. He led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA finals, his first season. Lebron James the leader of the team, doesn't really get along with the coach. That's the main reason why he got fired, but they  appreciated him after he left.

He was born in Holon Israel and played basketball  as he was growing up. He played with Maccabi, for a few years.  He was also chosen to play with the USA in the Olympics and was the starting point guard.  Many people have different opinions is David Blatt was a good coach or if you was a terrible coach arguably he was a very good coach but many people didn't think so.  Most of the team liked the coach book every single player needs to like the coach in order for them to succeed.  Hopefully David Blatt comes back to the NBA and can maybe coach another team.
