Top 3 Centers

There are many great centers in the NBA. People can argue for hours about who they think there too 3 are. For example I have my top 3 but my friend doesn't agree with my opinion. So who I think is third best is Deandre Jordan. I think Deandre is third best because he's a huge body and is an outstanding defender, he has great teammates that even make him better. He isn't really of an offensive player, but you can throw lobs to him. The second is Mark Gasol, because he could shoot and he's big and gets blocks, he could do everything. I think Demarcus Cousins is number one because, he can shoot three pointers and is unguardable. He's amazing in the post and is a great defender, he can shoot defend pass and rebound. I personally love him as a player and he's my favorite center. As you can see those are my favorite 3 and top 3, and this can be arguable.

Golden State Warriors 2015 season

This new season the Golden State warriors have a huge winning streak. The streak is the 3rd best in history 21-0 and currently coached by Luke Walton. The Warriors coach is Steve Kerr but he had a surgery so, the assistant coach Luke Walton is coaching them. Golden State won the NBA finals last season. They were facing the Cleveland Cavaliers, and won. The star player for the Warriors is Stephen Curry. The Warriors aren't the team that have one player that does everything. The reason they are undefeated in my opinion is because, they are really good together and fit nice as a team. They work hard and play great as a team, with great management and great coaching staff.
       The current starting five for the Warriors is , Steph curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Draymond Greem, and Festus Ezeli. Klay Thinpson is an outstanding player who loves to shoot and plays great defense. Stephen and Klay are called the splash brothers, because they "Splash" 3 pointers. They are a great 3 point shooting team, and are in the Western Conference. Stephen Curry was the 2015 Most Valuavle player, MVP.

Chris Paul

Chris Paul is a current NBA player, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers. He's 30 years old and has 2 kids, and one of them is Chris Paul Jr. He started off his career wth the New Orleans Hornets from 2005-2011. He was in the 2005 draft selected 1st round 4th pick. Chris Paul is a great defender and a great play maker. He currently is marked 15th in all time assists with 7,006 assists. He attended Wake Forest College, in North Carolina.
He late got traded to the Los Angeles Clippers and still currently plays with them. His main key in the game to pass to is Blake Griffin. Chris Paul gets most of his assists to Blake. Chris is currently coached by Doc Rivers, father of Austin Rivers. Chris Paul doesn't score too much but he for sure can lead a team. He gets many steals and is ranked #2 in steals as a Point Guard. In assist he is ranked #2 and sits right behind John wall.

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis, currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and attended Perspectives Charter School. In his junior year in High School he was 6'7. The next year he was 6'8, and out of a sudden he felt a growth spurt of 2 inches. He's now 6'10, and he is a great shooter because when your 6'7 you're a shooter, so when he was that height he knew how to shoot and still knows how. Anthony attended the University Of Kentucky. He was the leading scorer of his team.
Anthony's coaches believed he could make the NBA. So he was in the 2012 draft. He was the first overall pick of the 2012 draft. He was drafted by the New Orleans Hornets, with coach Monty Williams. In his first season he was a great player averaging 13.5 PPG. But every year he just keeps getting better. In his second year 13-14 he averaged 20.8 PPG. His 3rd and 4th year he was dominating with 25 PPG. Currently he's the first pick of Yahoo Fantasy Basketball.

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball

Haven't you always wanted to know what fantasy basketball was. Fantasy basketball is where you make your own team. Your goal in Fantasy is to get the players that get the best stats. For example assists, points, good field goal percentage, rebounds, blocks and steals. The best player in fantasy is Anthony Davis, the reason he's the best is because, he gets almost every stat and he has a great potential. Not many players get every stat except Anthony Davis. In fantasy there is a draft, the draft is where u draft your players and make your team. You always have to get the players that aren't taken, if there taken by another team you may not get them.
So comes the draft you get a pick. This pick means you have this number pick of the draft. So for example if I have 4th pick I probably wouldn't get Anthony Davis because the team with the first pick got him. My goal in fantasy one year is to have first pick, because then I can have the best player in fantasy. I always try to get the players with the best stats, so that I can win. If I win, I get 200 dollars, some people play that the team that wins gets money.

Boston Celtics and Their History

Currently in the NBA, there are 30 teams. One of them are the Boston Celtics. The Celtics have won 17 championships. This is the most ever team had, coming second is the Los Angeles Lakers with 16 championships. The Lakers and Celtics are big rivals because, almost half the 67 NBA championship games they would play each other. The leading players in 1980 championship were, Larry Bird, and Magic Earvin Johnson. They both made the Hall Of Fame, which only legends do. In 1956 Bill Russell was drafted.Bill Russell won 13 championships and won 7 in a row. Bill won their first 13 championships in 1957, 1959,1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1974, and 1976. Bill played the biggest position which is Center, he would dominate the key. The other 4 championships were in 1981, 1984, 1986, and 2008. I was alive during the 2008 championship game. I was watched all 6 games. The 6th game the series was 3-2 and the celtics needed one more game to win the whole championships. They were playing the Lakers on June, 17th, 2008 and won. 

Top 5 NBA Players

In the NBA there are many arguments for who deserves to be in the top 5 category. In my opinion the 5th best player is Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook is a point guard, that currently plays on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The reason I chose him as my fifth payer, is because he is a very quick, and explosive player. He led the NBA in most triple doubles. He almost won the MVP award, which is Most Valuable Player. Anthony Davis comes in as my 4th best player. He is only 22 years old, and puts up monster numbers. He is the 1st pick overall in Yahoo Fantasy Sports. He led the league in blocks, and was 4th in scoring. Now for my 3rd best player I would say James Harden. Harden is a great shooter and a great attacker to the basket. He is almost impossible to guard 1 on 1. He was the second player to lead the NBA in scoring.
Now here is where the big argument comes. Between these 2 players, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry. They both led their teams, to the finals and the Warriors won. Stephen Curry plays for the warriors and beat the Cavs. Stephen curry is the best 3 point shooter in NBA history. Lebron is the best attacker in history. In my opinion lebrun is the best player in the league. The reason I choose lebrun is because, he is unstoppable and made it to the finals without he's amazing players. Hebron is a very reliable and consistent player. So Stephen curry comes as second in my opinion.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar

What about Kareem Abdul Jabbar is so special? In 1969 there was a great amazing player who was playing on UCLA. He was 7'2'', and played the center position. His name was Kareem Abdul Jabbar. The Milwaukee Bucks had the first pick of the 1969, NBA draft. They selected Kareem, and he was very excited to be the first pick.
   Then comes his first regular season NBA game. He's a little bit nervous, but that won't stop him from playing good. He plays great, then the coach really sees his potential, and keeps on putting him in. In 1971-72 and 1974-76 he won Most Valuable Player award for 4 years. So about 3 years after his last award he won another one in 1980. About 6 years later he gets traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers really loved him and kept him for a while. Kareem invented a great basketball move called the "Hook Shot." He mastered that shot, and thats what he was meant for. Kareem scored most of his points from the hook shot. Then one of his teammates Magic Johnson started to practice the hook and they both mastered the move. In 1989 he retired from the NBA and won an incredible award for "One of the greatest top 50 NBA players." He retired at age 42, and is now 68 years old. He recently had a signing at the Grove in Los angeles CA. And he has had a great career.

Lebron James

All about Lebron James. Lebron James is a professional NBA player. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and also played high school basketball at ST. Vincent Mary High school. Lebron was an outstanding player in high school, and really fun to watch. He was so good that he didn't attend any college, and almost all NBA players attend a college. He went straight from high school to the NBA and was the #1 pick, in the 2003 draft. Man thats really crazy to be the first pick overall, straight out of high school. So then comes the draft.

   In 2003 there was many great players attending the draft. But the main player the teams were focused on was, Lebron. So the Cleveland Cavaliers had the first pick and chose Lebron James. In 2010 Lebron was traded to, Miami Heat. In 2015, he went back to his original team the Cavs.  He was 19 and in his rookie season he averaged 20.9 PPG. Lebron is not that small of a player, he's 6'8 and weighs about 250 pounds, he plays the small forward position. He scores most of his points but driving to the basket, and drawing fouls. He currently is still in the NBA and plays for the team he got drafted by, Cleveland Cavaliers. Lebron is a special player, and is one of the best NBA players of history.

My Favorite Team Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets is a basketball team in the NBA. The Nuggets are my favorite basketball team, I like them because I was raised a Nuggets fan so Im growing up as one. I don't have any family from Denver. The reason my family likes the Nuggets is because, about 10 years ago my family loved Allen Iverson who played for Denver. Thats why my family still likes the Nuggets, and will always like them.

The Nuggets recently did a trade, with the Houston Rockets. The trade was Ty Lawson for Nick Johnson, Kostas Papanikolaou, Pablo Prigioni, and Joey Dorsey. Also the Rockets get the Nuggets second round pick in the NBA draft. There coach Brian Shaw was fired on March 3, 2015. Nuggets made a smart decision of firing Shaw because, ever since he came the Nuggets record went down.

The Nuggets play at the Pepsi Center, in Denver Colorado. The Nuggets got a funny mascot, rocky. The Nuggets team logo is yellow, and blue. It looks like a snowcapped mountain. Hopefully the Nuggets will have a great record this season.

The Rookie Season

The rookie season of the NBA is right after the draft. What it means to be a rookie is when someone is doing something for their first time. NBA basketball gets 60 rookies every year at the draft in New York. About three months later comes all of the rookies first game of the season. The first pick of the 2013-14 NBA draft the Cleveland Cavaliers slected Andrew Wiggins. To be the first pick of any NBA draft, is one of the greatest things that can happen in your NBA career. Mostly all rookies are not superstars their rookie year because, they were in college and the NBA is whole different level. All rookies have an intelligant future. Every game most rookies just keep getting better, and eventually some may become superstars. After a few games you will feel a lot more comfortable then the season opening game. In the middle of the season during, All Star weekend theres a game rookies VS sophomores. This game isn't really a competitive game, its supposed to be where the Rookies and Sophomores have a bit of fun. After the whole year its summer league. Then comes a new year. This is the time where NBA players become superstars.
